Definition of the Common Era:
|
|
Be defined a civil, historical and astronomical Year Zero, as a common year of 365 days.
It lasted from 1792, January 1st to December 30th according to the christian, gregorian calendar.
AD 1792, December 31st corresponds to the New Year's Day Year 1 of this proleptic chronology.
Both, before and after this Year 0, each 128th year is an exceptional common year ; the next one in 256 (MM.XLVIII).

The new civil, Common Era (CE) take into account, the fact :
• that, at the most, a third of all human beings are Christians,
• that history of Modern Times indeed began in AD MDCC.XCII *,
• that the tropical year soon will be exactly 365.2421875 days **.
* Even though so-called Early Modern Times began 300 years before, in AD MCD.XCII.
The so-called « elementary days » are memory days, never feasts.
The material, unanimated elements on Earth are issue of solar fusions.
Incidentally – of course, without any cause and effect – there is the
same number of elements on Earth than days within the 4 seasons.
In the average 91 days, but the lengths of the seasons are unequal.
The elements above Plutonium are all radioactive, all artificial, eliminated
on Earth by their too short half-life, long times before recreated in 20 th c.
These elementary days are a poetry of Michael Florencetime,
created in AD MCM.LXXXIX. They are connected to no superstition.
Virtual Observatory of Florence administrates this universal calendar for 2003.
This sister organisation to BI-SMH respects especially the three Book religions,
but – of course – likewise, all the other traditional religions around the world.

The new civil era differs from gregorian calendar generally by 1792 years ± 1 day.
Examples :
• minus 1792 years minus one day between AD 1900, March 1st and 1920, February 29 th.
Thus AD 1918, November 11th corresponds to CE 126, Brumaire 10 th.
• minus 1792 years now exactly one, between AD 1920, Mars 1st and 2048, February 28 th.
Thus AD 2007, April 4t h corresponds to CE 215, Germinal 4 th.
• minus 1792 years plus one day between AD 2048, February 29 th and 2100, February 28 th.
Thus AD 2048, February 29 th corresponds to CE 256, Ventôse 1st.
The new civil era differs to julian calendar by 1792 years,
and between minus ten days and plus one month. Example :
AD 1492, October 12 th corresponds to CE - 300, Vendémiaire 21st. | |
The new civil era differs also from the bourgeois republican calendar (1792-09-22 – 1805-12-31) :
Example : An XIII, Fructidor 22 nd corresponds to CE 13, Fructidor 9 th (AD 1805, September 9 th).
Note : The new civil era maintains Julius Caesar's New Year's Day. This allows a consistent calendar rule w.r.t. the tropical year. |
|
|
** Two contemporary astronomical formulas for the tropical year :
|
1. according to VSOP87-Theory :
| 365.242189623 - T × 0.000061522 - T2 × 0.0000000609 + T3 × 0.00000026525 |
2. according to Bretagnon, 2000 :
| 365.2421905166 - T × 0.000061560 - T2 × 0.0000000684 + T3 × 0.0000002630 + T4 × 0.0000000032 |
| Remark : Both T refer to Epoch 2000.0 and mean 1000 × 365.25 days respectively J2000.0, i.e. JD - 2, 451 545.0 days. |
|
Calendar precision by the mean year
| Gregorian =
| 365. 242 5 days
| von Mädler =
| 365. 242 1875 days
|
Value T according to VSOP87-Theory :
| T = - 6.023
| at about 4000 BC
| T = 0.034 5
| Middle of AD 2033
|
Value T according to Bretagnon, 2000 :
| T = - 5.867
| at about 3900 BC
| T = 0.049 0
| End of AD 2048
|

This means, that the gregorian rule w.r.t. the true, mean tropical year was correct about 6000 years ago.
The 128-year-rule, first proposed by von Mädler, will be correct in about 25 – 40 years. (AD 2033 to 2048).
Note : Astronomers up to late 19th century, generally confound tropical year and vernal-equinox-to-vernal-equinox-year. In religious connection – date of Easter – latter one is important.
However, in civil context, only the modern, scientific, true tropical year can be decisive. Therefore, in civil context, the 128-year-exceptional-common-year-rule is consistent.
Christian Era without a year zero doesn't be a chronology, but a chronicle. The old, astronomical " Cassini Era " is a chronology, however – with its defined leap year zero – an inconsistent one.

This only consistent civil, historical and astronomical chronology and its civil calendar were transmitted to media – including afp – in the first days of AD MCM.XCI.
* * * Thus this only consistent chronology is objectively censored, till nowadays ! * * *
